With summer nearing by, my wardrobe becomes more vibrant with pastel colors. Whether it’s a dress, a bodysuit, or denim shorts, I tend to stay away from neutral colors like black and white. To me, summer is all about experimenting with vibrant hues.
Recently, I found this purple yet grey laced dress from Tobi. Aside from the two-tone color, the embroidery makes this dress a summer must have! It’s light-weight and very unique. I styled it with a pair of Vince Camuto Women’s Lorim Platform Pumps. Wearing nude pumps, with a hue like so, makes your legs seem longer. This is a big plus for short women like myself. If you must know, I’m only 5’1 (ha!).
The dress is very detailed and I wanted it to be the main focus. Thus, I decided to keep it simple by incorporating this small, pink handbag from Target. As for my accessories, I also kept it at a minimum with these studded-flower earrings I found at T.J. Maxx. Remember, a little goes a long way.
Aside from dresses, colorful body suits are my go-to summer pieces. I love their simplicity and how versatile they can be. They definitely come in handy when you’re bending down and not trying to have your lower back exposed (haha!). Trust me, no one likes to see the full moon unless it’s the actual moon.
This “Estelle Blush Bodysuit” from Tobi is my top pick for the warmer days coming ahead. I’m not sure what I love most about this bodysuit: the pink pastel color or the bell sleeves. With a color like so, it becomes very easy to style with almost anything. I paired my bodysuit with a denim skirt from the Kendall + Kylie collection and some suede, brown boots from Discovery. Include a choker, like this one from Ettika (code: @thenativestilo for 15% off), to give it that chic yet boho vibe.

Also, I wanted to formally inform you that I’m now a style guru for College Fashionista. This means that this gal has landed an opportunity to share additional blog posts there! I’m so thrilled about this new opportunity. It’s all because of your constant support; I wouldn’t be here, writing this post, without your love <3 Thank you so much, from the bottom of my heart. As cheesy as it may sound, it means the world to me.
